Doomsday

Doomsday
Great Britain, 2007. A deadly plague, known as the "Reaper Virus," has broken out, killing hundreds of thousands in its wake. In desperation, the British Government evacuates as many survivors as it can out of the infected area, and then builds a wall, preventing the remainder from escaping. Thirty years later, with the wall still up and the victims all but forgotten, the virus breaks out again. The Government decides to send a crack team of operatives, led by Major Eden Sinclair, into the hot zone to investigate the possibility of a cure.

Earthrise

Earthrise is a post apocalyptic science fiction MMORPG set in the distant future.
In the aftermath of the Third World War, mankind has managed to survive and build a new society: the prosperous city of Sal Vitas. Cloning, nanotechnology and quantum engineering are part of a new reality. Thanks to these technological advances, the human species has become immortal; each individual’s consciousness is stored in a data vault, ready to be uploaded into a cloned body as necessary. New energy sources have been discovered. There is a unified government that takes good care of those citizens who abide by its strict laws. Paradise, it appears, might really have come to Earth, and the people have embraced it.
But not everything is as perfect as it appears. By exercising full control over the cloning process, Sal Vitas' government decides who will live and who will not, playing the role of God on Earth. Insurgent forces have accused the city's rulers of crimes against humanity. Armed factions fight for resources and power within the new system. And from the waves of discontent, a rebellion has fomented and formed a shadow government: Noir.
Featuring a unique skill-based advancement system and player-driven economy, as well as extensive, meaningful player-vs.-player combat, Earthrise gives you innumerable choices to forge your destiny. Whether you're a noble soldier in the raging conflict between the Utopia and the rebellion, a criminal hiding from the law or a world-renowned engineer whose power extends into intricate trade and politics, your actions will echo throughout the game world.
Key Features:
- A unique post-apocalyptic setting where the cloned remnants of mankind battle to survive and rebuild. Yet while humanity may have evolved, human nature remains as treacherous as ever…

- Fast-paced action combat featuring dynamic targeting, customizable power armor, huge mechanized exoskeletons, and hundreds of high-tech weapons.

The Retrosic

The Retrosic

When the history of THE RETROSIC starts in April 2001 with the release of PROPHECY, no one can foresee that the first album will already enjoy considerable resonance in the electro scene. For keeping full control over his music Cyrus founds his own label TRIBUNE RECORDS, which became RETROSIC’s very own platform from its beginning.

Followed by MESSA DA REQUIEM hardly a year later, the mini album hits the top of the European Alternative Charts. It is celebrating “Record of the Year” of the DUTCH ALTERNATIVE CHARTS (DUC) after three months’ constantly holding the top position. The song GROUND ZERO establishes itself as a club hit overnight skilfully linking hard electronics with an oriental theme. For the first time here, THE RETROSIC is enriched by the classical singing of soprano Zaide who gives the EP its name quoting passages from the requiem by Verdi under the same name.

2002 and the following year also sees the band challenging various remix works for Bruderschaft, Clan of Xymox and a collaboration with [:SITD:] feat. Cyrus on vocals for the comic-soundtrack ERYNIS with the song DECOY and on the RETROSIC-Remix for LAUGHING STOCK.

Almost two years after MESSA DA REQUIEM, THE RETROSIC's second full-time release is brought to daylight with GOD OF HELL. Harsh arrangements combined with biting vocals remain the immovable centre of THE RETROSIC, now expanding to a fully band line-up behind Cyrus.

Discography:
* Prophecy (2001)
* Messa da Requiem (2002)
* God of Hell (2004)
* Nightcrawler (2006)

Oakly Medusa Goggles

Oakly Medusa Goggles

Okay...really I *NEED* these goggles. It's like someone walked around in my mind a bit and ripped my idea of a near perfect pair of goggles right out of my mind and phased it into something tangible. I would love to have these for if I ever would end up at Burning Man. Check out the predator dreads. Me wants...

John Galliano

John Galliano, CBE, RDI, (born November 28, 1960) is a Spanish-Gibraltarian fashion designer.

Early life and career
Born Juan Carlos Antonio Galliano Guillén in Gibraltar to a Gibraltarian father and a Spanish mother, he moved to London as a child and attended Wilson's School in Wallington. In 1984, he graduated in fashion design from St. Martin's School of Arts, with a collection inspired by the French Revolution called "Les Incroyables", that received positive reviews and was bought in its entirety and sold in the London fashion boutique "Browns". Following that, he started his own label under his name and began his career as a fashion designer. He was awarded British Designer of the Year in 1987, 1994 and 1995. In 1997, he shared the award with Alexander McQueen, his successor at Givenchy. Fashion guru Susannah Constantine has worked for Galliano in the past and he has also aided the future success of other designers including the renowned shoe designer Patrick Cox

Career
In the 1990s, Galliano relocated to Paris in search of financial backing and a strong client base. In 1995, he was appointed as the designer of Givenchy by Bernard Arnault owner of luxury goods congolmerate LVMH, thus becoming the first British designer to head a French haute couture house. Less than two years later, on October 14, 1996, LVMH moved Galliano to Christian Dior. His first couture show for Dior coincided with the label's 50th anniversary, on January 20, 1997.

He has been quoted as identifying his love of theatre and femininity as central to his creations – "my role is to seduce" he has said. Galliano has reputedly cited Charlize Theron as a muse and has been creating couture dresses for her to wear to red carpet events such as the 2006 Academy Awards and the 2005 Golden Globes. She is also part of the ad campaign for Dior's "J'Adore" perfume, while Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, fronts his "Miss Dior Cherie" perfume, and Kate Moss, in photographs by Nick Knight, his ready-to-wear campaigns. Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman have also worn dresses created by him to the Academy Awards in the past.

Currently, between his own label and Dior, Galliano produces six couture and ready-to-wear collections a year and a new mid-season range under his own name "G Galliano".

Personal life
Galliano says he follows a rigorous exercise regime which sees him rise at 6am each morning to complete a gruelling, 40-minute aerobic session with his personal trainer, before embarking on a 10-minute stretch, doing 150 push-ups and a six-mile jog along the banks of the Seine River. "Working flat out, it was a necessary step to take," he once said. "It helps to concentrate the mind and I find that I have so much more energy and focus." In 2000, he said that he also had found his inspiration for the couture collection of boho-meets-hobo chic he unveiled that January during his jogging sessions, when running past the homeless people lining the river. He added that he hoped to expose the pure decadence of couture by "turning it inside out". Similarities between Galliano and the fictional amoral fashion designer Mugatu, with his "Derelicte" homeless fashion show, from the movie Zoolander have been pointed out by some comentators.

Skingraft & Ernte

The clothes labored over by Skingraft Designs are simply astounding and possibly some of the best design I’ve seen, which isn’t a compliment I award lightly. Each piece seems to have tumbled through all our favorite fantasies, a cyberpunk touch here, a post-apocalyptic influence there, rendering them all absolutely gorgeous.

Those of you worrying about your pocketbooks need not fret; sadly, Skingraft Designs isn’t selling their larger pieces, although they are selling a bevy of tooled holster style bags perfect for the Asteriskpunk on the go.

I, like many of you I’m sure, long for the day when my riches have amassed to the point that I can clothe myself completely in designs such as these. Until then I comfort myself with the knowledge that somewhere, these all really exist, sighing pointedly as I click my way through a wardrobe I will never have.
